Boiling Sap



 Explaining the process to Charlotte

 Once the sap level was too low for the sap pan, we brought the sap inside to finish the boiling process on the stove top.
 Finally done boiling
 Filtering, which happened to be the most difficult part.  We tried milk filters, coffee filters, paper towel, cheesecloth and it still was not clear.  We're working on a better, easier process.
 11 gallons of sap equaled 28oz, but a little was spilled and some was used for dessert!
Vanilla ice cream with freshly made warm maple syrup!
