Charlotte made ornaments from pie crust today.
She helped make the pie crust by stirring the ingredients. While the dough was in the refrigerator, we ventured outside to enjoy the warm temperatures, mud, and rain puddles! After an hour, we went back inside to take the dough out of the refrigerator. Charlotte helped me roll the dough and cut out the ornament shapes using cookie cutters.
We used parsley flakes and paprika to decorate
We also used nuts and rice for decoration. We then brushed the ornaments with egg yolk and put them in the oven at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. After they cooled, we hung a couple on the tree.
By accident, I took this picture using a slow shutter speed, but I thought it came out pretty cool!
