Happy 13th Birthday Charlotte!!

The weekend started out great with a friend sleepover on Friday

Saturday, we started our day with Starbucks

Then an escape room which was awesome!  They did so good and it was not easy.  They made it out with 3 minutes to spare.  I was impressed!

Lunch at Applebees

TEENS!  

We ended our day with some shopping.

Caroline went off with Dad and Mimi for Maple "Sunday"

Sunday Charlotte was sick in bed ALL day 😞

She had to miss out on the Maine Mariners game so Caroline invited Olivia

We all had a lot of fun!

They almost blew a 6-0 lead, but they hung on and it was a great game!

They love when the neighbors come up and they get invited over to groom and ride

Pat also set up the lacrosse bounce back net, basketball hoop, and volleyball net so there was lots of sports action!

 Volleyball game at Wells Friday, boiling sap and school play Saturday, and a FULL day of skiing Sunday at Cranmore!

Caroline wakes up and heads for the sap house.  She will spend most of her day down there with Dad.

Middle school drama did Junie B. Jones the musical and they were SO GOOD!

Sunday, we headed to Cranmore Mountain and Pat and the girls skied from open to close.  They had a great time and Charlotte is slowly getting better.  They all have their own skis now and Pat even upgraded to a new to him pair!

Charlotte had her first middle school volleyball game #13

This was the middle school's first year and they all did great for only having 3 practices

She made some good serves

And they're finally mask free!!  2 years too long

Vacation Week

Went shopping after and found a Claire's store inside Walmart...genius!

Charlotte decided she wanted to try skiing this time so she did a lesson at King Pine

Unfortunately the (kid) teacher was not good so she decided she didn't want to do it.  Pat ended up teaching her and by the end of the day she was slowly going down the green slope.  She decided she likes it and wants to keep going...yay!

2nd time skiing and this girl is fearless.  She's cruising down the green and blue slopes and wants to do the Black diamonds...ummm hold up little one.  You may be ready, but I'm NOT!

She was doing jumps and making parallel stops, which is what advanced skiers do and no one even taught her!!

Skiing

 Caroline wanted to stick with snowboarding, but we convinced her to try skiing just once and boy did she LOVE it!  And she loved it more than snowboarding!

One  hour lesson at King Pine and she was good to go!  She picked it up fast.

Pat dug out his skis from the early 90's 😮 and they had a blast!

It didn't take long before she was down the blue trails

She also saw her friend Lainey and got to ski with her.  She had a great day!
