Girl's Day!

Charlotte and I had a great day of holiday FUN!  Our first stop was Toys R Us.  I only needed one thing so I let her browse and discover all the fun toys.

Lookin' good!  She loved getting in all the vehicles, but wanted them to make noise.

We had lunch at Panera Bread (Yum!) and then headed over to the mall to see Santa and ride the carousel.  All day, she kept saying "where's Santa?"

Didn't move a muscle!

Last stop was Cabelas.  Favorite part was the fish and the ice cream afterwards.

These are the BEST days!

12 week ultrasound

We were very glad to learn that we have a perfect active healthy baby.

Thankful For...

BABY DESMOND #2 due June 17th!!!  I had a doctor's appt. today and heard a very strong heartbeat of 179!  I will be 11 weeks on Friday and feeling ok.  Nighttime is when the nausea sets in, ugh!

Of course, we are thankful for so many other things...family, friends, nice home, good food, to name a few!  Hope everyone has a wonderful turkey day tomorrow!

Spin Art Turkeys

She LOVED spinning it!  (Sorry for the dark photos, my flash died)

The colors mixed very well.  While the plates were drying, I painted toilet paper rolls brown for the turkey body (Charlotte lost interest after all the spinning so the rest was left up to me!).  I then added eyes, beak, and the wattle.  I cut two slits on the side of the roll and slid the folded paper plate in.

They make great centerpieces!
