Earthquake!

We experienced our first ever earthquake tonight and I've never been so scared.  My heart was racing as we grabbed the girls and ran outside.  Charlotte didn't appear to be scared, but I think she'll be talking about it for days to come!  According to the news, it was a 4.0 magnitude centered in Waterboro.

Counting Apples

I made an apple learning activity for Charlotte.  She had to match up the number on the bottom of the tree trunk with the correct number of apples on the tree top.

 

Numbers 0-5 were easy for her.  With numbers 6-10, we counted together.

Being sick means...

wakeful nights, lots of tissues, and tea with honey.

Charlotte came down with a cold and now Caroline is sick for the first time.  Ahh, the inevitable!  Caroline is congested and coughing a lot, but otherwise happy.  

Fryeburg Fair

A beautiful fall day at Maine's largest fair
