Tuesday Thornton JV soccer played Massabesic so we had to go watch Ryan #49

Thornton won 5-1

Caroline had her first middle school game Wednesday. She said the 6th grade girls might not get a chance to play, but the coach put them in! Technically, middle school sports is only offered to 7th and 8th graders, but in past years field hockey hasn't had a lot of participation so they opened it up to 6th grade. This year, they have 20+ girls!

They played great and won 4-2 against Marshwood

Saturday the rec team played Wells at Friendship park in Waterboro

They were down 3-0 at the start of the 2nd half and they battled back to tie the game 3-3 and that's how it ended!

Dress shopping

 Charlotte took a day off from work to go homecoming dress shopping with Auntie Christine.  

I'm so glad Auntie enjoys it as much as she does!

Field hockey

USM Gorham Sunday 17th

It was a hot one, but these five 6th grade girls played awesome!

Tied Saco 1-1

Won vs Lake Region 14-0

Won vs Saco 7-0

Caroline had 2 goals, but more importantly the girls played so well together, great passing, stick handling, offense, and some pretty good defense only allowing 1 goal!

Wednesday was an early release day so Maddie came over for a bit before their games in Biddeford.

Today we were in Scarborough for 4 20 minute games

Lost against both Sanford teams, 8-3 and 6-3.  Won against Scarborough 6-1 and won against Falmouth 3-0. Caroline had a goal in the Scarborough game.

Love watching her play!  She has improved so much over the past 3 years.

Life Lately

Caroline's been doing rec and school field hockey with her bestie!

First time playing the ENTIRE field for 4 10 minute quarters!

They won the first game 2-0 against Saco.  By the 2nd game, they had lost some steam against Saco's 2nd team and lost 7-0.  Good start to the season!

Charlotte's still taking horse lessons at Lucky Clover and working at Market Basket.  

Our neighbor Tiffany has been here at her farmhouse for the past week so Charlotte has been enjoying some riding time with her.  Tiffany has decided to sell her farmhouse and ended up selling it back to our former neighbor Helen!

This trail ride was 7 miles, she cantered, rode through water, and had the best time!
