Endoscopy

Last Tuesday, Caroline had an endoscopy to try and determine what is causing her to regurgitate several times a day.  Based on her bloodwork they suspected EoE, eosinophilic esophagitis.  The endoscopy went well and everything looked normal.  The biopsies came back and showed no eosinophils or celiac disease.  Thank god!  It did indicate chronic gastritis, inflammation of the stomach.  So, they prescribed lansoprazole (prevacid) for 2 weeks in hopes that will take care of it.  We shall see...
