Celebrating 10 years of Marriage...

in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park

Day One - Wednesday

We drove the 27 mile Park Loop Rd and did some sightseeing.
 Sand Beach...gorgeous!

A lot of selfies were taken on this trip!
 Thunder Hole - quiet
Loud boom and you will get wet!

Day Two - Thursday
Our 10 year anniversary started atop Cadillac Mountain watching the sunrise.  Doesn't get much better than that!
Stunning

After a delicious breakfast we embraced a FULL day of hiking.
.
We started with the Beehive Trail which was labeled as difficult, but I must say I was hoping for something more challenging!

Beautiful view of Sand Beach on the way up.

Our next hike was the Bubbles.  A longer hike, but an easy trail.
 Bubble Rock, very cool!

Our third and last hike was the Precipice Trail and that was the challenge I was looking for.  Of course, we saved the best for last!
1,000ft vertical climb to the top in 0.9mi...good times!  I loved it!!

 We did it!!

Enjoying a well deserved dinner...
My handsome date!
Cheers to many more wonderful years!

After a delicious Italian meal, we walked around Bar Harbor visiting all the little tourist shops.

Day Three - Friday
We biked 20 miles on the Carriage Roads on a cool and windy morning.

After bike riding, we anxiously drove home to our two little girls.  Thank you to Grammy and Papa for taking such good care of them while we were having the best time in Bar Harbor!!
