Busy Bags

I got together with some other mom friends yesterday for a busy bag swap party.  It's all over the internet, but basically each participant prepares one educational activity or "busy bag" to provide for each of the other participants.  I came home with 11 different activities for Charlotte and she had lots of fun with them this morning.
Stringing beads on a pipe cleaner

Number caterpillar - Stringing numbers 0-10

Practicing writing

She definitely needs more practice, but she shows great concentration in this picture
Heads and Tails game - matching different animals

Mini reversible felt board.  On this side she is making a face and on the other side there are pieces to make a house.

Popsicle color matching

Categorizing shapes.  It also came with fruits and vegetables.

These are just some we did this morning.  She didn't want to do the one I made, but it came from this website.  http://planetoftheapels.blogspot.com/2011/09/busy-bag-swap-day-13-color-counting.html
