Weekend

Little League game Thursday night and Saturday morning and Caroline has been getting some hard hits to outfield and plenty of RBI's. She even had her first outfield hit as a Dirt Dog!

Lost a very close game against Biddeford

Won a back and forth game against another MLL team

Squeezed in a doubleheader against Fryeburg on Sunday before the rain.

I'll spare you my yelling, lol!

And Saturday Charlotte went with her 2nd family to a horse show in Saco to help out.

Vacation Week

 Charlotte spent all her free time at the horse barn and Caroline hung out with friends all week. Olivia came for a sleepover, Caroline went to Maddie's grandmother's for a sleepover and Maddie came here for 2 sleepovers. Throw in softball practice, games, and Charlotte's first horse show of the season.

First little league scrimmage (yay for being on the same team for their last year of little league)

This girl worked HARD all week long, 9-10 hour days and she comes home dirty, tired, and burnt.

It rained ALL weekend so Caroline's little league softball games were cancelled on Saturday and her Dirt Dogs games in Fryeburg were canceled on Sunday. That meant I got to go to Charlotte's first horse of the season (in the rain!)

She did all 18' jumping classes on Champ and she did amazing for her first time. Two 2nd place and two 1st first place finishes!!

Weekend

Charlotte's friend Elizabeth slept over Friday night. 

Saturday, Charlotte went to her friends (who is also a Charlotte!) birthday sleepover at an Airbnb in Lebanon. So fun!

 

Caroline spent Sunday afternoon with Maddie at her grandmother's. 

It was a softball free weekend, but that is about to change! School softball and little league has started so things are about to get crazy! 3 teams and we are ready for it!

And to think that last year at this time I wasn't sure about the whole softball thing after 3 years of lacrosse, but it truly has been a blessing! And to be part of a travel team after only 3 months of learning and playing softball is just amazing! She has come a long way and it's been fun to watch!

Life lately/Vacation week

Horses, softball, workout Wednesdays, skiing, and sleepovers.

I don't have many pictures because my girls hate when I take their picture so here are pictures other people took...😏

Charlotte had an eye appt (for keratoconus) in Portsmouth so I thought we would do some shopping before. We did lots of shopping at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and our first time at Aldi was ok. Not as good as expected, but I did pick up a few good deals. It was great having all the stores in the same area. We headed to the mall after and that was a big bust. It was empty and many good stores were gone. I hadn't been in 20+ years and it used to be great, not anymore.

Charlotte's appointment went well.  It's in the very early stages so the doctor wants to do the wait and see approach for any progression before they do cross linking. It could be months or years.

Sawyer's been loving all the snow we've been getting. He wasn't very cooperative for a picture either, but I did manage to get one.
